Members

The number of members is unlimited, and membership is open to all Galician and non-Galician residents in the country, with a percentage of 70% Galician and a maximum of 30% non- Galician.

They are classified into four categories:

  • Honour: those persons deserving of distinguished and extraordinary service.

  • Protectors: those entities or persons who collaborate economically with the centre.

  • Beneficiaries: those people who are retired or similar, as long as they have been with the centre for at least 3 years.

  • Active members: those persons who are up to date with the established membership fees.

Rights and duties of members

All members, by virtue of their participation in the organisation, have a series of fundamental rights and duties.

To follow the rules and comply with the decisions of the Assembly and the Board of Directors.

To pay their annual membership fee in full where applicable.

To inform in writing of any change of address.

To collaborate with the organisation of the Centre.

To attend the ordinary and extraordinary assemblies that are convened.

How to become a member

All interested persons must send an email to centrogalegolondres@gmail.com including their name, address, telephone number, and email, and be accepted by the Board of Directors. They must also pay the full annual fee approved by the assembly.

The financial year follows the calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December). Membership cards must be renewed within 30 days after the expiry date.

In addition to being able to use the facilities and participate in the activities organised by the entity free of charge or with preferential access (at a discount), members will be entitled to the following benefits:

  • 15% discount in the bar/restaurant.

  • Discounts in the protective entities.
